Throughout the pandemic I have participated in livestreams of acoustic performances. There’s something very special about stripped back versions and I love sharing that vulnerability with like-minded people. Four of those performances are available to watch on my YouTube channel. Two of these four are medleys, which mean a lot to me. If you have followed my work for a while, you’ll be familiar with my passion for lyrics, and fascination with words and their deeper meanings. Each medley follows a thread and comes full circle, even when the song choices don’t seem to be the most obvious ones. But underneath genre people deal with the same subjects since the dawn of time - whether it’s the beautifully genre-bending Delerium in the 90’s or 2021’s terrifyingly insightful Bo Burnham. There’s common ground in so much art that we share with each other.

These tracks have given me so much over the years, and I hope my live sessions pay tribute to this.
